Author Biography

Masalu Masanja, International Organization for Migration

Masalu N Masanja is an expert on International human rights, and International Migration Law. He is an advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and Notary Public & Commissioner for Oaths. Masalu holds Masters of Laws (LL.M) with Distinction in Human rights and Democratization in Africa from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania, a bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Uganda Martyrs University, and a Bachelor Degree of Laws (LL.B) from Mzumbe University Main-Campus Morogoro.

 He is currently working for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) UN migration Agency as a programme assistant, with a particular focus on migration policy, Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM), and Mainstreaming Migration in the United National Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework, Common Common Analysis and linking.
