Abstract

It is estimated that there are 500-650 million people living with disabilities in the world and of these people, 150 million are children. In Africa, less than 10% of children with disabilities are attending school. The rights of children with disabilities are a human rights and social justice issue. This paper critically evaluates the rights of children with disabilities from a South African constitutional perspective.
