IJEDA Accreditation Status
2024-02-13IJEDA has been accredited by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and is now included in the South African Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) list of accredited journals. From 2024, authors who publish articles in IJEDA will be eligible to apply for subsidy from DHET.

IJEDA is Open Access as of 2023
2023-04-13The International Journal of Educational Development in Africa (IJEDA) will forthwith be Open Access but no APCs or page fees will be charged. Initially the journal will publish one volume each year. Articles will be published online when ready for publication via a continuous publication model. The journal will not be printed. Additional collections may be published for special events (e.g. conferences) and when special themes are addressed.
