Marianne de Jong, University of South Africa

Marianne de Jong is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Afrikaans and
Theory of Literature at the University of South Africa. She has published
one book ('n Ander Afrikaanse letterkunde) and a range of articles and
chapters, inter alia on Foucault, Habermas, feminism, Bakhtin, and J.M.
Coetzee and other South African writers. She is presently completing a study
with the title "The Act of Writing and Its Ethics in the Novels of J.M.
Coetzee".
