Author Biography

Carrol Clarkson, University of Cape Town

Carrol Clarkson completed her DPhil in English at the University of York in
the UK, and now teaches at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
Her main research interests are philosophy of language and post-apartheid
South African literature and art. Her publications include articles in The
British Journal of Aesthetics, Journal of Literary Semantics, Third World
Quarterly and Moving Worlds. She has also published papers on J.M.
Coetzee and on post-apartheid jurisprudence.
